Hi, I bought this at the Guitar Center about 6 months ago and sadly it sat on a stand for most of it. I am a professional guitarist primarily and have had a few tries at the bass but it never became a priority.This is really a great bass for guitarists because it plays very nicely with the short scale. People with small hands and large hands alike would love this. It sounds very deep as well.There are a few changes I made. I bought a 2 or 3 ply (I can't tell) white pearloid pick guard, which looks so much better than the stock brown one and some off-white block marker stickers (from Japan) which make it look more like a Fender Pre neck. I think they look like the real thing (mother of pearl) and if you don't like them, they can be removed.So, in other words, I think visually, this is the best (unique) looking MIJ reissue on the market.Unfortunately, there has been a couple of very very tiny mishaps. There are two tiny (and I mean tiny) little dings on the sides barely worth mentioning but I want to mention everything I notice so there will be no surprises. My camera is not good enough to take picture of them so I didn't include them.Please ask all question before the end.
