Here is a quote From Jerry Jones: “#108 is a Longhorn Bass6 in copper color, sold to Kurt ****** on July 27, 1988. This was the 8th instrument we made.....first one went to Jack ****** w/Hwy 101 so the first serial number was #101. I think only the first 22 instruments had the "Silver Jones" label.” This is an awesome bass, I bought it for my personal collection but need to move it for another instrument. I will have it professionally set up before it ships. It is in great shape! It has a few small scratches pictured in the photos. The lipstick pickups sound amazing! It has a custom fitted case that might be original, I am not sure. I ship world wide!

This is a maple cap neck P-bass made by washburn lyon,, its a " players dream " issue free but in modified condition , the player removed sections of finish , and i must admit i like it ! , the neck is straight as an arrow , great frets , electronics all very nice , bass sounds EXACTLY as one would desire , the neck is perfect with natural relic wears , this guitar is an import but was worked over very nicely , to present a good look and insurpasable feel , the body is laminated but features some figured wood , buy this to use with you band now , or home recordings or just to have as a spare , closed case washburn tuners , great working truss rod , stings are fine with plenty of life left , about 7.5 lbs , perfect ! ,,,depending wear you live it is possable i remove the neck for shipping , intonation is perfect , BIG THUNDER BASS TONE ,, balanced and issue free , one know has a cracked insert , you will probably need to replace with cooler knobs eventualy , enjoy this auction ,,,you dont need a chain saw until you need to cut a tree down ,,,,,,,,,you will use this one !

This Used Rickenbacker Bass was manufactured in November of 1973, almost 40 years ago. Plays and works great! I do not know the history of this bass. It looks like a band instrument as it has buckle rash and some chips as well as a little patina on the chrome. Look at the pics and ask questions before you bid. I will try to answer all of your questions. This base is in fine working condition but I caution the buyer to realize this bass is 40 years old and may have internal conditions altered in shipping or you dropping it. I qualify vintage as a working item that is old and may not be a "project" guitar but may need some work. This is not a restored item but rather an "as is" item and not returnable. As such no Canadian buyers, sorry, aye, you guys have been poorly represented my experience with a couple of aye holes. I will ship anywhere is the USA. I was at a punk show last week and it was the band's last show.. The bassist (who looked a lot like what people say Jesus Christ looks like.. I don't know personally, I never met the guy) threw it into the crowd and I actually made a very nice catch, saving it from any damage done. Upon further inspection, I noted (aside from the usual stickers I posted in the picture) several inscriptions which I will list. Nameplate: Has the word Tom engraved on it "I'm a wanker drive hobo" "poop on nazis" with a swastika scratched out "it'll sound better now, trust me" engraved under the bridge I took it to a friend's house who plays, plugged it in, it works fine but it has a slight buzz. I don't really have any use for it, but for a beginner or someone who just wants to have fun on a truly unique guitar, this is it. Shipping will be $26.. but the rest of it is up for bids.
